There are certain elements of the past whose historical significance is immense, yet they are gradually disappearing over time. Therefore, under a single roof, we have endeavoured to bring together the unpreserved history of every district in West Bengal. Andul Raj Bati

Established on May 1st, 1834, by Raja Rajnarayan Roy Bahadur, this sprawling palace complex in Howrah is a prime example of Bengal's affluent zamindari architecture, blending European Neoclassical columns with indigenous styles.

Andul Sankar Shiddheswari Temple

The temple architecture, characterized by its distinctive rekha deul or curvilinear spire structure (partially visible in the dome), is typical of traditional Bengali temples, distinguishing it from the Neoclassical style of the nearby Raj Bati. It remains an active center for devotional practice.
